While there are many different types of photography, Duckworth Studio specializes in creative portraits of people, business branding. For weddings, We would highly recommend seeking a dedicated wedding photographer who specializes in comprehensive event coverage. However, we would love to discuss bringing the professional portrait setup to your event to provide unique, high-quality portraits for your guests or attendees!

Please note that newborn photography requires specialized certification and training that I do not currently hold, so I am unable to accept requests for newborn sessions. Other projects, such as traditional family photography or maternity sessions, are assessed on an individual basis. Please feel free to schedule a consultation to discuss your specific needs.

My approach is that every person is unique, and no two sessions should be the same. We'll plan thoroughly beforehand to address any discomfort before you even arrive. Providing professional hair and makeup services significantly boosts confidence, so you'll feel excited and ready by the time we start taking photos. To make the experience truly luxurious and help ease any nerves, I also offer champagne or cocktails.

Instead of standard posing, I encourage natural movement. I'll guide you with gentle assistance, helping you find the most flattering angles and poses that feel authentic to you. I promise, you will not have to worry about what to do with your hands!

Pricing starts at $300, which is the session fee that is required to reserve the date of your photo session. This does not include any images. All images are purchased from packages or individually, however you are never obligated to purchase any images from your session.

I like to take my time, so I do not have a specific time limit on my sessions. Typically sessions will range from 1-4 hours. This does not include the 60-90 minutes necessary to do your hair and makeup before the session.

You also will have the option of choosing your images the same day, which requires 60-90 minutes after we are finished taking photos. You are welcome to save this step for another day, however I cannot move forward with your project without input from you on the images, so I highly encourage clients to opt for the same-day selection. I will have plenty of drinks and snacks available to keep you comfortable and satiated!

Once you have chosen your favorite images, I will do some light retouching and then send you the digital files within 7 days of your session.

Your printed products will arrive between 7-21 days after your session. You have the option of having them mailed directly to your home or picking them up at the studio.

While it is possible to send a link with all the images to you, I no longer use this method because many clients have said this is too overwhelming.

Also, you will most likely end up opening the link on a small phone screen, which is NOT ideal for viewing your works of art.

My large, professionally color-calibrated monitor will give you the best experience to see your images. After you have chosen your favorites and I have done some light retouching, you will receive a link to download your images so you can have lifetime digital access.

I offer a beautiful array of albums with luxurious covers and finishes, such as velvet and vegan leather. For wall art, you can choose from matted framed photographs printed on archival paper designed to last over 100 years, images printed on metal or wood, and wrapped canvases. Our art ranges in size from 6x9 inches up to 60 inches, ensuring a perfect piece for any space.

I am very passionate about you seeing your images in print form, so I do not sell any digital-only portrait packages.

Absolutely! I provide comprehensive styling and wardrobe assistance. Whether you'd like someone to accompany you shopping, help go through your closet at home, or offer guidance during a video call, I am here to help you select the perfect outfits for your session.

We'll discuss your wardrobe in detail during your pre-session planning consultation. If you purchase new items for your session, please make sure to try them on beforehand to ensure a perfect fit. Similarly, if you plan to wear something you haven't worn in a while, it's a good idea to try it on to see how it fits and feels. You'll also be able to add photos of your potential outfits to your project for reference.

I focus on creating beautiful printed art for you to cherish. All printed products you purchase come with the accompanying digital image, giving you lifetime digital access to your works of art.

Right now you will most definitely be working with ME, Max (short for Maxine). I am a female. I do not currently have a male photographer.

These requests are reviewed on a case by case basis. Unless you are doing a session together, I strongly advise against bringing any guests because they can often become a distraction for either of us.

I understand extenuating circumstances and I am willing to access this request on an individual basis.

The $300 deposit for the session is non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule and notify me at least 72 hours before your session start time, you may do so ONE time and transfer the deposit to the new date.

If you need to reschedule less than 72 hours before the session, you will be required to pay an additional, non-refundable $150 re-booking fee.
